In untold ages past, when your world was cooling from the volcanic fires of her birth, the Ancient Starseeders watched over the waking and dreaming into being of countless embryonic worlds throughout the Cosmos. They wove the web of deep designs and captured the eternal essence of Life into form, by means of thunder transmuted to song. Across boundless soulscapes the Ancient Starseeders saw new beings hatch and struggle to be born, watching them grow until they flew and foraged, pranced, paddled and perambulated, burrowed, ballooned, and in time begat their generational followers.

With satisfaction the Ancient Starseeders beheld the wonder of co-created life, for so in harmony were they with the universal Way that they were godlike in their knowledge, power, humility and readiness to enhance the wellbeing of all life. They moved from world to world, considering each sphere's unique blend of elements, matter forms, auras and energies, so as to marry each new Starchild seedform to its best suited parent Globe.

Some seedforms were germinated in the seething hearts of stars, others on the dim plains of silent moons. Some rode the streaming tails of comets round their parent suns; others emerged from the singularities of quasars that shone with the light of a billion stars. Many sprouted in the vast sea of maternal darkness, the Cosmic Womb and Tomb in which all stars and worlds bathe - and into which they shall at last dissolve.

The starseeds basked in the afterglow of creative fires as the Ancient Starseeders guided them, carefully severing each umbilical auric thread and watering each new Starchild with the alchemical aqua vitae of the Cosmos. Each seedform thrived, by growing a new astral thread which tapped into the nourishing draughts of its parent world. For this is the way life's Great Dance has been and shall be, for unimaginable aeons to come.

And now the Ancient Starseeders turn their love to you, watching as you struggle to rebirth an ancient route to understanding that will realign you with forgotten paths that radiate like petals, and unfold through ceaseless change into the flower of the eternal Way. Behold in the eternal present the work of the Ancient Starseeders - the emerging seedforms of Star Children seeking to be born through you - so that together you may nurture and re-create your own world, Gaea, through love.

The Star Children bring with them ancestral memories of their Cosmic seeding worlds, so that you may share them and journey, if you wish, in astral voyages to these distant realms. And they bring with them the aching joy they share with you, the longing for the eternal Home from where we all descended at birth to our worlds. The end of that quest will be, for all enlightened beings, to return to that Home and know it for the first time. Such is the symbol of the Circle, where all going forth and returning meet at the same still Point. And so shall it ever be.

All attempts in physics to experimentally determine the nature of dark matter have failed. Dark matter and physical light point to an archetypal presence ignored since Newton’s time, when the World Soul was abandoned in favour of a male deity who had invented physical laws to rule the universe. But now the Cosmic Mother has returned:

I am the dark energy that flows beneath all Cosmic manifestations of change and interaction, an inaccessible mode of reality untouched by gravity and light, like the dim recesses of deep soul, which meander through the birth canals and chasms of unreflecting night. 

Gravity and light, as Einstein presents them, can never constitute the sole organising principle in the universe, since the speed of gravity and light waves is very low on a cosmic scale. It takes about 26,000 years before a signal from the centre of our Milky Way galaxy can reach us. As a consequence, Crop Circles (which feature in this book) could never contain messages from the distant Cosmos; we would be condemned to relative isolation, despite our attempts to detect signals from extraterrestrial life.

We have inflicted that loneliness upon ourselves. In developing quantum physics and General Relativity, we have lost soul. The attempt to combine these two theories in a mathematical higher framework is often compared to the quest for the Holy Grail. But as the Ancient Starseeders - who speak through Maureen as Oracle - advise us:

The true Grail of science is not an abstract set of numbers and symbols, but a rediscovery of the spirit in matter, a reconnection of ancient wisdom with new knowledge, and a reaffirmation of the relatedness and communion which birth ‘under-standing’ that ‘stands under’, instead of looking down from a superior position in order to analyse, pin, dissect and label.

The inner movement we need is from the mind to the heart. Beyond quantum physics and General Relativity lies an enigmatic reality, but academic science will not acknowledge it as long as it fails to appreciate those whose hearts resonate with the heartbeat of the Cosmos. According to the Messages, Circle Makers and Star Children have come to Earth to free us from the prison we have created for ourselves. The Crop Circles remind us of our deepest self, but only if we are able to see ‘along’ their beautiful shapes to their origin:

Again, it is love which leads to true ‘under-standing’; to look merely at the Circles is to seek separation and explanation, but to look ‘along’ them to Source is to become one with their living light.

And what is understanding without love? The secret of the Cosmos I was looking for as a child seems to be that it is one meaningful whole. But to experience that, we must resist the urge to analyse the whole into lifeless pieces. Instead, as the Messages reveal: 

It is love which binds the atomic entities and galaxies together and keeps them moving around their centres, just as love binds you to a Starchild and keeps your entwined life energies flowing around a shared still centre, in cycles of rest and change.
