Poetry from the galaxy Anddemar

Hi Folk! Enjoy these glimpses into the poetry that permeates the galaxy Anddemar, as a vast communal web and Great Dance of the Heavens . . .

As sands of time run erosion through the heart

Shall we not keep waking, breaking the barriers,

Shattering the ice of mere distance

Till the blood of rebirth thaws the shadows

Of our yet unborn desires?

~ Sanphire Jaide Vardrewan

At last like the Serpent’s tongue

we fork in twin directions

letting go of everything

touching our beginning as the Circle meets its end

I reach for the hand of my toddler self

content within a charcoal chilly garden

eager like a heartbeat for the heavy voice of thunder

and the silent call of fast approaching

loves and eyes of storms

~ Sanphire Jaide Vardrewan

Surging seas of amber and chalcedony

could not contain mere glimpse of thee

In shrouded night thy shaded glance gives open

to a certain look both breathless and reborn,

a hint of waters calm below a shielding star.

Reposed beneath the storm

that darkness dares to offer thee

you are the nova’s drift

its lambent bloom and luminescent sigh

and I a world warmed only by your fire . . .

[Sanphire to Naudicea]

No wavering mere wash of waves are we

but an arc of ocean ridden till it crashes into song

surging to the beauty of the limping five four waltz

closing to a rhapsody transmuted to a whisper

For from us flows the living Fire

who cannot be contained or silenced

poured instead as sacrificial amber from the Grail

And in the end an ash of our unbearable lightness

endless consummation with the mystery of Love

~ Sanphire Jaide Vardrewan
